Art Is Truth
I have been creating art for over 20 years, exploring a wide range of mediums including watercolour, pencil, charcoal, and, most passionately, oil painting. Throughout my artistic journey, I have continually worked to strengthen my natural abilities through study, practice, and a deep commitment to growth as an artist.
My training at an atelier school played a significant role in refining my technical skills and elevating my work to a new level. The discipline of classical training taught me to see light, form, composition, and detail with greater depth and understanding, while still allowing me to express my own artistic voice.
I am drawn to challenge and variety, which is why I enjoy painting many different subjects. In recent years, much of my focus has been on portraiture, where I find great fulfillment in capturing personality, emotion, and human connection. At the same time, I continually return to still life painting—my first artistic love—because of the quiet beauty, atmosphere, and timelessness it offers.
